Three students of Sandip Institute of Polytechnic, Trambakeshwar Rd, Maharashtra have developed automatic fuel flap system for cars. They have successfully developed automatic fuel flap opening including the tank lid.
These three young engineers are the first to develop such system and they have revived the patent

Where did the idea come from?
The youths were on a trip, and they had to wait in long ques at petrol stations. They noticed that the one or two minute time is wasted in opening the fuel lid. This led to the development of this system.
This system takes only about 28 seconds to open and close the lid automatically.
